Privacy policy
Short version: the only thing Mooncore collects is what you type into the quote form, it is used to reply to you and nothing else, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Who is responsible for your information
Mooncore is a UK sole trader operating from South Yorkshire, and is the data controller for anything you send through this website. For anything in this policy, contact hello@mooncore.co.uk.
What is collected
Only what you type into the quote form. Depending on which form you use, that is your name, an email address or phone number, and what you have written about what you need. The longer form also asks optional questions about your business, budget and timeline. Nothing on the form is collected unless you press send.
Standard technical information such as your IP address is processed by the hosting provider in the course of serving the page. This is not used to identify you and is not combined with anything else.
What is not collected
- There is no analytics on this site. Your visit is not tracked or measured.
- There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
- No information is sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing.
- There is no mailing list. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to anything.
Why it is used, and the lawful basis
Your enquiry is used to reply to you, prepare a quote, and carry out any work you go on to agree. The lawful basis is legitimate interests - you asked a business a question and expect an answer - and, once you engage Mooncore, performance of a contract.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in Google Firebase, in Google’s European data centres. Notification emails are sent through Resend. Both are established providers with their own security and data protection commitments. Access is limited to Mooncore.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to two years, in case you come back or ask about a previous quote. Records relating to work actually carried out are kept for six years, which is the ordinary period for business and tax records. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask Mooncore to:
- tell you what information is held about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it for a particular purpose
Email hello@mooncore.co.uk and it will be dealt with within one month, usually far sooner. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how it has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. You are encouraged to raise it directly first, because it is usually quicker to fix.
Sample builds
The demonstration sites under /showcase are not real businesses. The forms, baskets and bookings on them do not store anything, do not send anything, and take no payment. Anything typed into them is discarded when you close the page.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated.
Questions about any of this? Get in touch and ask. A plain answer is easier than a legal one.
